Autumn Events in Manchester

What’s on this Autumn in Manchester?

It’s that time of the year again! Summer’s over and the nights are drawing in rapidly!

Nevertheless, there’s a full and exciting list of Autumn events on in Manchester.

As another somewhat wet, yet reasonable summer comes to an end up North, there’s a splash of hot, sunny Spain to keep us glowing! The Albert Square in the city centre will turn into a ‘little Spanish oasis’ for the Festejar Spanish Festival. There will be live bands, Spanish food, and dance lessons for all to enjoy. Festejar is the must see event to wave away the final summer sun.

For something a little bit different, Bury continues with its world famous Black Pudding Throwing Championship. This is where competitors aim to knock down as many Yorkshire Puddings as possible with an underarm throw of a black pudding.

For those who prefer to eat food rather than throwing it, Autumn has some fantastic food and drink events including Manchester’s Food and Drink Festival, Indy Man Beer Con, and Manchester Oktoberfest.

Halloween in the City is Manchester’s spookiest festival, featuring trick or treat trails, our famous buildings lit up green, pumpkin patches, and a Day of the Dead-style parade, get the family dressed up and head into the city.. if you dare.
