Belle Vue Coaches is lending its weight to the Active Youngsters Campaign!

Belle Vue Manchester is adding its muscle to the ‘Active Youngsters Campaign’, a superb scheme which encourages Stockport youngsters to be more active.

Life Leisure operates various sports and fitness centres across the Stockport borough and Belle Vue was actually the first corporate partner for this campaign which has now been launched.

The positive drive, called Life Leisure Kids, is aimed at youngsters aged from five to 13. Life Leisure Kids features weekly classes at four of the Life Leisure centres, with activities ranging from Zumba and cheerleading, to weightlifting and soccer.

Life Leisure’s marketing manager Laura Mylotte said: “Classes take place at peak times to fit in with the periods when parents are able to work out in the gyms.

“Membership of Life Leisure Kids – which costs £12.99 a month – also includes free swimming sessions and discounts off holiday camps and birthday parties.”

Belle Vue Coaches has strengthened its partnership with Life Leisure with the amazing strapline: ‘Keeping Your Kids Moving’.

Our managing director, Phil Hitchen, said he was shocked by “… a recent national report which showed just 21 per cent of boys and 16 per cent of girls are getting the recommended level of physical activity.”

He added: “As a key partner for schools and school swimming lessons across Stockport, we keep the kids moving safely and we are pleased to form this partnership with Life Leisure.

“We are passionate about promoting activity for children – in the age of the computer, inactivity is becoming an increasing concern and it’s great to see Life Leisure taking the initiative to combat this problem.”

Life Leisure is publicising its ‘Active Youngsters Campaign’ on 13 of the amazing Belle Vue yellow school buses. In return,  Life Leisure is helping to promote Belle Vue on the radio and TV in the gyms, and on advertising boards around its all-weather pitch, at Stockport Sports Village in Woodley.
